The Claypot Taverna

The Claypot Taverna

I ventured a little further afield for dinner this week, to The Claypot Taverna on Anzac Parade in Kensington. This shopfront suburban restaurant is easy to overlook, but it is renowned for its authentic Cypriot and Greek dishes, as well as its traditional atmosphere and a relaxed ambience. Fink Chocolate Cafe

Fink Chocolate Cafe

I’ve been living on Sydney’s North Shore in Lane Cove since February, and although cityhobo describes the vibe here as ‘lunch with nanna and the kids’, I personally love it here. This annual winter festival transforms Sydney into a wonderland of ‘light art’ sculptures, innovative installations and grand-scale projections for all to enjoy – for free!

Quarter-Life Crisis

Quarter-Life Crisis

Last weekend I flew back to Brisbane for a much needed weekend at home to celebrate my 25th Birthday. I blew out candles, played in the autumn sunshine with my nephew, and cheered on the Eurovision contest with my lovely uni girls.
