I’ve been living on Sydney’s North Shore in Lane Cove since February, and although cityhobo describes the vibe here as ‘lunch with nanna and the kids’, I personally love it here. There’s plenty of scenery and parks, it’s close to the city, and it has a low-key village shopping centre so there are several eating places to choose from. Last weekend I flew back to Brisbane for a much needed weekend at home to celebrate my 25th Birthday. I blew out candles, played in the autumn sunshine with my nephew, and cheered on the Eurovision contest with my lovely uni girls.
Sydney has been my home for nine months now – where is the time going?! A trip to the Blue Mountains has been on my to-do list since day one of getting here, but something or other always crops up.
